Exercise –
The benefits of exercise go far beyond building muscle and losing weight. Exercise plays an important role in maintaining a healthy body and mind.

  • Improves Stamina and Flexibility- The more you move the more your body becomes efficient and uses less energy for the same amount of work. You’ll soon feel lighter and more nimble.
  • Helps Prevent Diseases - It reduces the risk of heart disease, cancer, high blood pressure, diabetes and other diseases.
  • Strengthens and Tones while Controlling Weight- Exercise helps burn calories so you lost weight and inches.
  • Improves Quality of Life - Exercise reduces stress, lightens your moods, and helps you sleep better. It keeps you feeling and looking younger. 

 
Recommended Physical Activity levels

Adults should be physically active at a moderate intensity for at least 30 minutes, 5 or more days each week. Increasing the intensity or the amount of time that you are physically active can have even greater health benefits and may be needed to control body weight. About 60 minutes a day may be needed to prevent weight gain. Encourage children and teenagers to be physically active for at least 60 minutes each day or almost every day.
